In comparison to its innovative younger sister, the Tate Modern, the neo classic, traditional Tate Britain seemed an old fashion and a little bit boring lady.

In December there were disco, hairstylist and monkey waiters, on Friday 2 January the new year will be celebrated with live visuals, sounds and interventions from the artist collective Savage Messiah. Petit Mal will perform music live and you will enjoy the video and sound works from artists Pat and Trevor, readings and performances from artists involved with Publish and Be Damned and award winning contemporary films, as selected by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
